•THREAD-JACKING: Long threads that my character can't see is not appreciated, but otherwise, go for it.
•FOURTH WALLING / CANON PUNCTURE: It's fine. He's going to be confused, maybe hurt, but he's likely to forgive you about it if you're not a jerk.
•BACKTAGGING: Yes.
•AVOIDED TOPICS: It's less about quality and more about quantity, I'm all right with the odd grim/dark plot, but it shouldn't last.
•PREFERRED GENDER PRONOUN: Mine is the feminine nouns, but don't worry about it.
IC CHARACTERISTICS:
•CURRENT CANON POINT: Post series.
•PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Flynn is tall with brown hair, though he's often stooped over onto his crutches for support. He's thin and clean-faced, with messy brown hair. He is physically disabled, dependant on his crutches and his face has paralysis down one side.
•DEMEANOUR: Flynn is one of those optimistic, 'we'll fight this' kind of people. He's normally a positive person, but his manner has been dampened with the weight of discovering what his father's been up to and he has become more cynical and strained as a result.
•MEDICAL INFORMATION: Flynn has cerebral palsy, which has caused mobility and speech difficulties. He requires crutches to walk and stutters slightly, though this is mostly only noticeable when he's very stressed.
•OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: His father, possible hero worship thereof. Ableism, maybe.
IC PERMISSIONS:
•MENTAL: Yes, but you're not likely to get much out of him, he's just a kid.
•MIMICRY: Fine.
•VIOLENCE: Yes, but he's not going to be a pushover: his power is a shield meant to protect him.
•MAGIC: Fine.
•DEBATE: Yes, but remember, he's a teen and it's not unlikely it'll devolve into idiocy.
•OTHER / NOTES: Generally give me a heads up to what you have in mind.
TRUTH CRUTCHES PERMISSIONS:
In Mask or Menace, Flynn only has to touch you with his crutches to get the truth out of you, along the lines of WonderWoman's lasso.
He's unlikely to use it unless you're pretty damned obvious about lying and there's something he really wants to know, but let me know if you'd like his power to be able to affect you.
I make it a point to ask in particular cases.
